Special collection tray in shred bin keeps shredded paper separate from plastic shreds. Don’t worry about removing staples and paper clips, the 2270 has high quality, hardened steel cutting shafts will paper clips, staples, credit cards and CDs. Transparent safety shield to protect fingers and other items from coming in contact with cutting shafts.  Thermally protected motor protects against overheating. 5 gallon shred volume for paper and 3/4 gallon volume for CDs.
