Destroyit 2604 has a 1 horsepower continuous duty motor for those who need to shred for more than 30 minutes at a time. The 2604 has the SPS (Safety Protection System) package. Cross cut model come with factor installed oilier. Transparent safety shield in feed opening protects fingers and other items from coming in contact with cutting shafts. Electronically controlled easy switch uses color codes and back lit symbols to show operational status. Avoid paper jams with built in automatic reverse and power cutoff. Shredder will automatically shut off when shred is full or cabinet door is opened. Motor is thermally protected against overheating and Energy Saving Mode (ESM) after 1 hour of inactivity. The Destroyit 2604 has a large 30 gallon shred volume and is available in strip and cross models. Both shredders will shred paper clip, staples, credit cards and CDs. It has a high quality wooden cabinet mounted on casters.
